Question: Bootcamp assistant becoming unresponsive when continue button clicked.

Hello, I had deleted my partition of windows software on High Sierra (off of bootcamp) but I downloaded it off bootcamp assistant before I downloaded High Sierra. Now whenever I open the boot camp assistant, on the first continue button, the program becomes unresponsive making me force quit. I searched this up and have found the same problem but no answers. Any help? (I don't have a USB)

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.0.x)

Also to add, the only reason I didn't do the bootcamp assistant way is because it said 'it could not partition my disk.' + I have filevault turned on, but its loading off at the moment.

Using Disk Utility just compounded the problem.

Are you disabling FileVault?
