Question: Invalid username or password (Profile Manager)

Without any particular reason, every time username and password entered to Profile Manager / Device Manager URL, we get Invalid username or password. It was absolutely fine until last night and not DNS/Network/Upgrade to the server happened.

Its a macOS 10.13.3 Server 5.5

Desparate situation; please help.

Are you attempting to login with the machine's local administrator's credentials, or a user in another directory? (Most people use the local administrator, but if you are using a non-local user, you need to make sure that directory is responding. You can check this in the User & Groups pane in System Preferences.)

Can you explain what you mean by this?

"not DNS/Network/Upgrade to the server happened."
