EXS24 not finding samples in iCloud Drive folder
What's the deal with EXS24 in Logic not being able to find audio files in the iCloud Drive folder? Of course all data is, showing "downloaded" status and file sizes are correct.
I keep my entire sample library on iCloud Drive as it's utilising my fast internal flash storage, and has the huge benefit of being available and synced across all of my devices - Mac Pro, MacBook Pro and iPad
I have an alias in the username / Music / Audio Music Apps / Sampler Instruments folder pointing to the location in the iCloud Drive folder. EXS sees the instruments but none of the audio files are found.
Copying the folder containing the audio files from the iCloud Drive folder onto e.g. the desktop and loading an EXS instrument, the audio files are found immediately.
I've tried experimenting with the EXS preference to search local volumes, external or All to no avail.
Shall I log this as a bug? Is this a known issue or workaround?
To clarify, the data in the iCloud Drive folder is 100% intact and local / downloaded. It was actually pushed to the cloud from this computer. All data is accessible from iPad and Mac Pro but EXS will just not see the audio files, even when searching it returns no results whereas spotlight does immediately.
Apple Loops working perfectly, they're on iCloud Drive.
