How do I consolidate all of the songs from the same album in iTunes?

I just downloaded a free album from the Williams Street Records music site (adultswim.com/music) and I need to know how to consolidate all of the songs imported into iTunes to be listed together under the album and not be listed alphabetically by artist. Right now what I have to do to hear all of the songs in their entirety as an album is to go to every song from the album in my library and on my keyboard push down CTRL while simultaneously left clicking on my mouse to select the song and then drag and drop it in the "Up Next" button at the top of the iTunes. I would like to have this album be like the other ones where the songs are organized together.

I'd appreciate if someone could please point me in the right direction.

Hello RickS,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I see that you are wanting to organize a compilation of songs from multiple artists, so they show under one album. I would be happy to help point you in the right direction from here.

The following support article will walk you through how to manually organize these songs so they are grouped in the same album:

Combine your songs into albums in iTunes - Apple Support

Specifically, use these steps:

Mark songs as part of a compilation

If the album is a compilation of songs from multiple artists, iTunes might list the songs in separate albums.

To organize the songs as part of a compilation, follow these steps:

  1. Select all of the songs that belong in the compilation.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Edit > Get Info.
If the message "Are you sure you want to edit information for multiple items?" appears, click Edit Items.
  3. Select "Album is a compilation of songs by various artists."
  4. Click OK.
