FCPX has lost track of motion templates

I moved an FCPX library to an external drive as it was too big for the startup drive. I had consolidated all media (including Motion templates) but now the library can't find the templates I created. They don't show up in "installed titles." They are still on the same hard drive as the Library.

How can I get FCP to reconnect to these title templates?

MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1), The round Mac Pro 2014

Are the templates inside the library?

There are two options for storing templates: either inside the Library ir inside the proper hierarchy under /Users/Movies/Motion Templates

Unless you set the location to be in Library before you consolidated, the templates should just remain where they were, in your system drive, regardless of where the library is.

I'm a guess you moved the Motion Templates folder to the external drive, which is a no-no.
