Trash emptied, recovering content?
I emptied my trash can in error. Is there a way to recuperate content?

You can try with recovery software (free - $$$) and/or a software recovery company. Do not use the computer at all until it is scanned as anything you do may be written over the deleted files/space making it impossible to recover.

I tried that with Apple assistant, but I seem to have another problem since I just discovered that Time Machine don't show my emails which I am reading and filing in Outlook for Mac directories. i will try one of the software companies you recommended. Thank you so much. Evelyne
Sorry, no idea what you mean with "any" software company. I posted a link which shows the best five mac software recovery companies. Check out one/all of them.
any software company?
Sorry... I'm new and not an expert! Thank you so much! I saw the link.
Don't worry about it - good luck!
By the way, I forgot to post this: if you have a Time Machine or other backup from before the trash was emptied, you should be able to retrieve your files from it.
