My phone recently got hacked, so I'm changing all of my passwords to my apps and emails and accounts. I changed my Gmail account's password, but it was hooked up to the mail app. Will changing the password from my computer log me out of that app?
(Note: not the literal Gmail app, but the mail app that comes with the phone.)

Once you change the password on your computer, you won't be able to access your mail account on your iPhone until you change the password there as well.

Again, you're confusing me. If you believe you've been hacked on your phone, which BTW, it's pretty much impossible to hack an iPhone to begin with (but it's not impossible for someone to get your email password), and if you can't get into your phone, what difference does this make? You can't get into your email account anyway, right?
I can on my computer. I had my Gmail set up on my phone, and it was still logged in. I called Apple Support earlier today and they said it was hacked, and I'm going to the store tomorrow to discuss the solution in person, but I'm wondering if changing the password from my computer will log me out of my phone, is all.
It's a different password. This will log me out of the app, yes?
You've lost me. If you use a gmail account on your computer and you want to use the same account on your iphone, they should use the same user name and password. What am I missing?
