change clock to white in ios11 (iPhone 6)

My partner just updated his iPhone 6 from iOS9 to iOS11. Apparently the clock face went from white to black. He wants it white. Is there a way to do this?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.3.1

I don’t think you can change that. I just tried it, I tapped the clock app and the next image is white numbers on a black background.

Which clock are you asking about? The clock app on my iPhone 6s with iOS 11.2.6 is white with black numbers and hands.

Sorry -- I said it wrong: At the home screen the clock face is white with a black background.

==> But, when he selects the clock, it's reversed: white letters on a black background.
