The Photos App Takes Up Space Without Any Photos

I own an iPad Mini 4 which has no photos, videos, or other media stored on my device (neither in the regular Camera album, the Recently Deleted folder, and no other albums exist). However, the Photos application takes up 1.9GB of space. I have tried setting my date back in order to resolve a "phantom photos" situation I found online. This method did not work for me. Is there any other solution towards figuring out why the app takes so much space?User uploaded fileUser uploaded fileUser uploaded fileUser uploaded file

Simply try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.

Good Luck!
