I have a macbook air, running version 10.13.3
This is what I've found on my finder menu:
Finder: Shared: hp9457a59e6d2e
How can I remove it from my system? I ran Malware remover for Mac, and have Sophos anti-virus installed.

Open finder and its preferences , under shared section uncheck the box of connected servers and bonjour computers .
You can hide that information in the sidebar via Finder Preferences, Sidebar, Shared.
