This Apple News app is garbage, you can't mute Fox News from Trending Stories (even when you "dislike" Fox as a channel it still shows up?!). When selecting channels you can't scroll without selecting a source or category. Poor execution.
Okay then, I can suggest:Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS 10 device or Apple Watch - Apple Support or How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
and still having trouble then Contact Apple Support Contact Apple Support.Good Day!
