APPLE CAR PLAY NOT WORKING CORRECTLY

I have a 2017 Ford Transit Connect Wagon, iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 11.2.6. When I connect my phone to car play using the usb port, everything displays correctly on my vehicle screen And works correctly, while I’m sitting in the car with the engine idling. The minute I move the car to drive it, a new screen appears, deleting most of my playlists, artists, albums, etc. and displaying categories like most played, classical, recently added, downloaded music, etc. When I come to a stop at a light, etc. my display returns correctly and all my albums, playlist, artist, etc. return, only to change back to my problem once the car starts moving. This issue has been going on for a few months, even with my old 6 iPhone and through previous iOS updates. I have ”paired” my phone, read over the vehicle owners manual, which is Fords sync 3 , checked trouble shooting issues, read other people problems on car play, selected “downloaded music”, which ALL my music is, etc. i have NO other issues with car play other than my Apple Music! Ive tried to ask Siri to display all playlists, artists, etc. while I’m driving, but get a cant do that, etc. response. If I ask Siri to play a specific playlist that has disappeared from my vehicle screen, I get unable to do that type response.

I can’t remember all the names of every artists song title , every album in my playlists, every artist, etc.

VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!! Am I missing something???? Is anyone else having the same problem? I don’t know if this is a vehicle issue or an Apple issue. THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS, HELP.
