Unable to open Pages documents or files on my iPad Pro but Pages works perfectly on both my iPhone and iMac 27

Unable to open documents and files on my iPad Pro but Pages works perfectly on my iPhone 7 and iMac 27. I can see the files but tapping on them doesn’t open them. The software is up to date, 11.2.6 What is the problem?

iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 11.2.6

Hello peteskys,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to open files in the Pages app on your iPad Pro, but you don't have any issues with these files on your iPhone or iMac. If you haven't already, please force close the Pages app on your iPad Pro and restart your iPad Pro as iOS clears cached data and does other system optimizations when you turn your device off and on. Then test your issue with these files again. If you're still having this issue, try removing the Pages app and then redownloading the app from the App Store.
