I just got an iPod nano, downloaded iTunes & started downloading music. Now my question is: Why can't I download ANY songs from iTunes to my iPod nano & how can you tell which ones are iTunes & which ones are Apple Music? I got the message that 100 songs I had chosen were Apple Music & you can't get them on the nano because it has no internet, but I can't get any of them.

As far as I'm aware, you cannot add Apple Music songs to an iPod nano.
To add music that is in your iTunes Library to the iPod, you need to actually tell iTunes what to add.
Connect the iPod nano to iTunes and look on the Device/Settings/Music pane (1.):
