The mic on my Apple watch series 3 has stopped working! How to solve this problem at home?

My Apple watch series 3 was purchased about a month ago and it has been working wonderfully until today. Even though the watch is water resistant, it was never before placed under water. The mic has stopped working. It will not work through Siri, it won’t work with dictation, when making a phone call, the person will not hear me, but I can hear them.

Mind you the watch is clean, free of debris, was never placed on sand or water. The software is updated on the watch and my iPhone. I already tried restarting the watch by powering it off twice, the mic still not working.

Anyone else having trouble with this?
