slideshow on TV repeats itself-Why?

Hi

Can anyone help?

When I view photos from my MAC on our TV, for some reason, it may show the first 10, then will start again, I then come out and go back in, now it may show 12 then start again, it is very weird. (I go through an Apple TV to get the photos)

I have all my pictures in different folders on the MAC, on the TV I am selecting one of the folders to view. (this particular folder as 293 pictures)

I view them by selecting the slideshow, and have repeat and the other options as OFF.

This is really frustrating me therefore any help appreicated

That may be because with no details it is impossible to answer things, with no information only guesses can be made

so no one yet knows the necessary answers to the questions I ask

what apple TV OS you are using and what version of the Apple TV hardware you have

You do not have Photos for Mac but have iPhoto for Mac and using an Apple TV is a different forum - I will request that your question be moved to the Apple TV forum - and the users there will need to know what apple TV OS you are using and what version of the Apple TV hardware you have
