Error message won't go away

I have an error message on my screen that popped up after i tried to open a game that I downloaded and installed via Wineskin on my macbook air. The messages says that there is no Windows-program configured to open this kind of file. The problem is that i can't close the message. There is a button with OK but when i click on it nothing happens. And in the applications bar below i can't stop the program either. I tried to restart the computer it but won't turn off. How can i make this message go away?

MacBook Air, iOS 10.3.3

1. Click  in the menu bar and choose “Force Quit”

or press command +option + esc keys on the keyboard together.

In the window that opens up, select “Safari” and click “Force Quit.

2. Try starting up in Safe Mode.

Start up in Safe Mode. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Once in Safe Mode, click the “Restart” button at the bottom.

3. Reset NVRAM/PRAM couple of times. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761
