Even though I discontinued my Facebook account, my MacBook Air keeps asking me for to enter login credentials to FB. I tried to delete the app, but even the FB app does not appear in Launchpad. How do I get this out of my system?
MacBook Air, iOS 11.2.6
Open System Preferences > Internet Accounts.
Select Facebook on the left then click - (minus) at the bottom of that pane.

This is on a computer running Mavericks from 5 years ago?
Does Facebook provide removal instructions on their web site?
