I just bought a Magic Trackpad 2 and can't get it to pair. My OS is Yosemite 10.10.5. After reading some other discussions, I realize I need El Capitan. Can I upgrade from Yosemite to El Capitan? How do I get the download?

Magic Trackpad 2 is also compatible with El Capitan (not sure what the earliest version it is compatible with, but Sierra and High Sierra are also compatible). I'm using mine on an iMac running El Capitan. I did have to do the initial setup with the USB to Lightning cable attached.
I also use BetterTouchTool to enhance my trackpad capabilities.
So Magic Trackpad 2 is compatible with Sierra/High Sierra? Right now, it works when plugged in with the lightning cable but I can not scroll and it doesn't connect with bluetooth.
