Deleting Mail app to gain storage space

I deleted my email account and the Mail app from my iPhone 6 plus. But the data is still taking up a great deal of storage space. How do i delete it?

I have restarted my iPhone, but every time I hit the offload and uninstall button. It still remains. Mail App Phantom Storage I do not use the Mail App on my iPhone. I did try it out when I first set up my phone and quickly decided to just use my Gmail account. I deleted the Mail App around that time. Over a year later now: I noticed while cleaning up storage on my device that there is about 200 MB of stored data for the Mail App. I followed other recommendations of unlinking accounts, I've re-downloaded and deleted multiple times now, unlinked / deleted all linked accounts (including iCloud). And yes, I did restart the phone too. I haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of this stored Mail App data. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Force restart the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

If that does not do it, then restore the iPhone.
