turn a Table in Pages

Hi,

i´ve made a table in numbers in landscape mode. Now I want to paste it into a pages document and turn it by 90 degrees to fit it onto 1 page.

but the dialer to turn that table keeps greyed out!?

Can't you just turn the table, or do you need a stupid workaround - as it seems usual in pages?
