a sound was played on my Iphone from find my Iphone without me initiating it. was I hacked or was it a glitch of a crossed signal

If I understand correctly, the Find My iPhone sound was played on your device, and you did not do it. This can happen if someone who is part of your Family Sharing does it. I would recommend you read these articles, they explain in more detail how the feature works.
