Can I change thumbnail size in finder windows
MacBook Mac High Sierra 10.13.3,When I open a finder window, the thumbnails are very small an difficult to see, is it possible to alter the size?

Yes. In that open Finder Window, press ⌘-J and adjust your icon size and grid spacing to taste. Click the Use as Defaults button at the bottom of this Show View Options panel. You can also do this for your Desktop by clicking on the Desktop and again, selecting the ⌘-J shortcut.
