Suggestions for Powering Kiosk iPads?
Hello all,
I've been handed a new project for a health system and what they are requesting is a kiosk mode iPad setup that will allow our end users to access a web page to take a questionnaire. While I've got the iPad set to kiosk mode that takes them directly to the web link and a security stand for the iPad, I need to figure out a way to keep the iPad powered through at least a 10 hour day. I've been looking at various power banks but am curious if these will work for what I need. The iPad will be in a common area and need to be available all day without losing power or the staff have to start a recharge. Is there a power bank that would just continuously keep the iPad topped off that could then be pulled from the stand and recharged overnight? Also, I have seen some solar models and have wondered if anyone has had any experience with these? Would I possibly be able to set something like that up to recharge itself with solar while it is dumping power out to the iPad? If anyone has any suggestions for this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
