Shuffle in music player not working

Hi all

I've got an annoying problem with the standard music player on iOS.

I've got all my music sorted out per genre and very clean id3tags (just the title, artist and genre). I listen to music based on genre so I select the specific one in the app and press shuffle. But for over a year this doesn't work anymore and I get the error "song is not being played".

I figured out that the problem is due the fact that there is nothing in the album tag. Whenever I change all the album tags of that specific genre into something, the shuffle button works again. Even a simple space does the trick.

As said, I like my tags clean, so even the space would annoy me as the titles are all messed up.

I resorted to Cesium player, but this is a laggy app that often creates problems when connected with bluetooth to my car.

Is there something I could do so I can use the standard music player again?
