homepod stops playing music

Just recently, when I have Homepod playing my library on shuffle, which is what I use it for 90 percent of the time, it just stops for no reason. I don't want it to stop playing, and it didn't do this a couple weeks ago. It just kept playing, which is what I wanted. Now it seems like there is some kind of time-out function. Why would it stop playing? And, no, it hasn't reached the end of my library yet....

I have the same problem, this started about two weeks ago. It'll just stop after a random amount of time. This can happen after three songs or ten, but it always happens within the hour or two at most.

I checked that other thread, but my problem has nothing to do with missing songs from a playlist. It happens with anything I try. If I just ask Siri to play hip hop music for example, it's obviously impossible for her to pick songs that don't exist. Still it'll just stop after a while, and when I ask to play it'll resume as if nothing happened.

Really annoying problem. I had hoped the new software update would have fixed it, but it hasn't.
