Pegasus2 RAIDs restart after short sleep
I have both a Pegasus2 M4 for Time Machine and a Pegasus2 R4 for Data attached to my iMac Pro via an Apple Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter. The R4 isn directly connected to the adapter, the M4 is daisy-chained to the R4. When I manually put the iMac to sleep or when the Mac sleeps due to inactivity, both drives shut down but only for about 15-30-seconds, then both restart. The drives sometimes cycle through stops and starts, sometimes remain on. The iMac does not wake up at the same time.
The RAIDs are for home use and I want them to power off when the iMac sleeps.
I've tried different connections combinations, using the left and right Thunderbolt ports on the drives and switched the direct-connected drive from the M4 to the R4.
I reinstalled Mac OS then later erased and clean-installed OS X 10.13.3 (this to resolve a series of warning messages posted when I ran the Disk Utility). I reinstalled the RAID drivers and the Promise utility and reset all Controller values to factory default as below:

I tested something else - turning off Wireless. When I manually put the iMac to sleep after this change the drives did not restart. This seems like progress but is it a solution or just another clue to the cause? Yes, Time machine is active but "Enable Power Nap" is disabled and Wireless would have no function. I did not consider testing the RAID behavior immediately following the clean-install and before I restored my data to the SSD on the iMac.
