I’ve asked my friend from Japan to buy me an IPhone when she was there, so she brought me the Iphome X white 256 gb. I’m from Ukraine but currently living in UAE. The PROBLEMS
is that I didn’t realize that all the Japanese cameras and smartphones should make a loud sound when taking pictures. So now I just cannot turn it off. Can I write to Apple directly and ask for changing my iPhone settings? Or what should I do???
I did a quick search, and it seems it is the law of the country you buy the iPhone that rules wither you can turn it off or not.
And in japan apple is required to leave the shutter sound on.
So it seems you can't change that setting to off 😟

It's a Japanese model, you won't be able to mute the camera, and Apple won't be able to do anything to change it on that phone.
Thank you for the response, I was doing a research yesterday and I know these things. But I was wondering maybe directly Apple can help me anyhow. Because I am not going to use it in Japan anyway - so maybe they can do something with it.
