Mirror Netflix from iPhone to Mac

Hi everyone,

im currently trying to mirror Netflix in particular from iPhone to Netflix (reason: I have a data plan that allows me to stream as much Netflix as I want without using my data).

I already tried AirServer, which allows a Bluetooth connection. Didn't work.

5K player didn't work either, but is no option anyway, since it needs a WiFi connection on both devices.

I tried using my lightning/USB cable to connect to my Macbook and using QuickTime to mirror. Youtube works perfectly, Netflix only audio.

Is there any way I could get this to work?

I had the idea to get a Lightning to HDMI adaptor, connect an HDMI cable to it, and use a HDMI to Thunderbolt adaptor to connect to my Macbook.
