Upload error in iOS Files App

Dear Apple,

I am facing some issues in the files app: compatibility with other cloud storage apps like OneDrive.

1. Folder browsing

In a nested folder, whenever I tap on the parent folder and continue to the child folders, the app takes me back to the parent folder. I do this 2-3 times till I am finally allowed to view contents of the child folder.

This issue mostly comes when I have to save a file in the child folder. (Eg. saving a PDF or screenshot from the web and storing it in the OneDrive section of the Files App)

2. Upload error

In the above scenario, as I create and upload a PDF (from a webpage), the file gets saved locally on OneDrive, but does not get uploaded on the cloud. The file gets stuck - I am unable to delete or rename it.

Please check these issues. I will also inform Microsoft about the error.

Thank you,

Akshansh Chaudhary.

Hi zinacef,

This issue is not related to the "iCloud Drive". It is regarding the other 3rd party cloud storages like OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. that are added to the Files App.

The iCloud Drive works perfectly every time.

With that said, I did turn off iCloud Drive sync and turned it back on. It had no impact on the other cloud storages.

(obviously, because they are separate programs).
