Outline text in black and fill with color

In the good old days when Pages was young and clunky, it had loads of functions that were easy to find and easy to use. Apple to advance Pages dysfunctionality seems to have removed the ability to have text of one color with an outline of the letters in a different color, i.e. black outline with yellow fill. I am talking about the letters themselves NOT having letters of one color and text of another.

Since most people ask: I am using an early 2011 MacBook Pro upgraded with a 500 GB OWC SSD and 16 GB RAM running Sierra 10.12.6 and Pages 7.0

Anyone know where they have hidden this or is it gone the way of useful Find and Replace where I need to code to put in a search for a carriage return?

I might have to return to using Nisus.

You will not be able to create text with different outline and fill colors in Pages 7.0.

In Pages 7.0, you can enter \n in the Find field, and then press the > button to get a count of matches and highlighted pilcrow (¶) paragraph (“carriage return” in analog terms) marks.
