Camera is not recognized

Hello!

I use iMovie 10.1.8. Camera Logitech c922 pro Webcam (USB).

If I use QuickTime Player, then I have the choice of two cameras (HD-camera FaceTime in Mac and Logotech c922).

When I click the "import" in iMovie, I see only one camera (HD-camera FaceTime).

Why iMovie does not see USB-camera Logitech c922?

Logitech C930e webcam - flaky performance Hello. My C930e Logitech webcam is often not recognized by my iMac (Catalina 10.15.2). When I start a video recording app, the webcam might appear as an option alongside the FaceTime built-in camera. I select it, and it works for a few seconds before freezing and then disappearing from the camera options. In case it's a driver issue, I downloaded a driver update from Logitech's support site, but it doesn't work because it's from outside the App Store and not trusted. I looked in the App Store for Logitech updates, but I couldn't find any. I've relocated the USB connector from a hub to a direct USB connection; that didn't fix the problem. I've restarted the iMac to no avail. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Any suggestions will be most appreciated. Thank you!

QuickTime having problem on new MacBook Air QuickTime on my new MacBook Air (retina, 13 inch, 2019) does not appear to be able to record a movie using either the built in faceTime camera or a USB Webcam attached via a USB 3 adapter. Both FaceTime and Photo Booth can use either camera and the Webcam can be used with QuickTime to record movies on my Mac Mini. Sounds like a bug in QuickTime unless some security authorization is required that I don't know about. Does anyone else have this problem with a new MacBook Air running MacOS 10.14.6?

I don't see the Logitec camera listed in Apple's iMovie supported cameras website.

That's probably why it is not being recognized.
