Have OS 10.13.3. Imac. How do I stop desktop from moving altogether? In Mission Control, everything is UNchecked. Do something with hot corners? I can barely work.

How many desktops do you want/have? If you only want one, try control - up arrow and delete other desktops. If you are working with applications in full screen, they automatically open in their own desktop. There is no way I know of to change that behavior.

Make sure you check your hot corner settings and set them to what you want. If you don't want anything to "move" I'll recommend using the "-" option in all the corners.
