Music won’t play when uploading screen recording to instagram stories, but not as a regular post. Any thoughts?

I took a screen recording of me browsing through my phone, and would like to post it on my instagram Stories, but the song playing in the background wont play. It works fine in the Camera Roll and Regular Instagram post, but not stories..?

Argh! Instagram audio for other’s stories still not working on iPad, 5th generation OS 12.3.1 Why is audio on Instagram stories still not working? I have to move through the post to get an audio to play there and then go back to the stories so that it will play. This seems like a simple issue why can’t it work correctly? How come when i Screen Record from on the Photos with music playing, the music stops working? I’m trying to make a screen recorded video with music playing while on the Photos app. However, it doesn’t seem to work. I tried closing the app and playing music while recording and it works fine but as soon as i enter the photos app it just simply won’t work. I also tried restarting the device. Still wouldn’t work. iOS 12 iPhone 5s. The music app is Soundcloud.
