Safari Bookmarks Acting Strange Please Help

It was only yesterday (April 3rd) that my MacBook pro started putting my bookmarks at the bottom of my sidebar when I added them in. It used to always put them on top. (the way I liked it)

Can someone please help me be able to have my bookmarks placed back on top of my boomarks sidebar when I add a new bookmark?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

There is a change in effect now.

Just drag the website icon in the search bar to the top of the Favorites bar.

Right click it and edit the name if you wish.

"You can also click in the Smart Search field, then drag the URL of the webpage you’re viewing to the Favorites view, or drag a URL or bookmark to the Favorites page, Favorites bar, or Favorites folder in the sidebar."

When you add a bookmark by right clicking in the address field and click on copy , and then paste in bookmark sidebar ( command and V ) or use another method take cursor on top menu bar > bookmarks > add bookmarks it will be saved in the downward location as default .

You can click on drop down arrow of favourite ( black triangle pointing downwards ) , the bookmark will be on the top or you can manually drag and drop the bookmark from bottom to top .

That is my problem when I click add bookmark and click favorites it puts it at the bottom of the favorites tab. It used to put it at the top they way I liked to have it. I have no idea how to change it back or how this happened. D:

Thats the thing I guess maybe an auto update makes it save on the bottom (maybe the new default?) But it always used to save on top for me. is there a way I can get it to save on top like it used to?

Note: even when I click save to favorites it still saves on the bottom of the favorites tab (it used to save on the very top)

I hate to be a pain to you but I just tested bookmarking on my sister's dad's and my mom's apple MacBook pros and airs and they all save the bookmark at the top like my mac used to. Do I have to downgrade a new version or something? My mac is the only one that is putting my bookmarks at the bottom and it started doing it only yesterday.
