GTX 660 in Mac Pro 1,1

Hello all, I have recently obtained a Mac Pro 1,1 which contains the following specs:

2x 2.66 GHz Xeon

8GB 667 MHz DDR2

Radeon HD 4870 512MB

1 TB Drive with Mac OS X 10.7.5

1 TB Drive with Windows 7

I have been wondering If the native OS, 10.7.5 will support a GTX 660, as I have found one for fairly cheap on the local used market. I looked on Nvidia's website and the only Quadro/Geforce Drivers are for 10.8.

Would I have to hack 10.8 onto the machine to run a GTX 660, or does 10.7 natively support Geforce 600 series cards?

Any help is appreciated.

No startup screens for any of those more advanced cards until you load 10.8.3, which you cannot do unless you hack your Mac Pro with something like 64on32.

Thank you, but that still does not answer the question of the GTX 660. Does 10.7 have the drivers for it?
