Pioneer has acknowledged the issue, and claims to be working on a fix. Check out:
I spoke with Pioneer this afternoon. They have not updated the website, but they say that the 11.4 update fixes the problem. I have not had time to try it yet.
Correct. 11.4 update, no problems anymore! Great
I spoke with Pioneer this morning. They say they have been getting a LOT of calls about the problem, and it has a been escalated to the engineers. No promise on when, but at least it sounds like Pioneer is listening and may offer a patch soon.
Byte19,
Start with this:
If you can‘t connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Good luck.
Fantastic!! Got my bluetooth back... now to figure out my ipod/iphone problem....
Did you ever figure out a fix to it? My pioneer is doing the same error on 11.3 and I’ve had my deck for almost a year as well. Please help bc I can’t get passed “error-2-60”
Anyone tried 11.3.1?
same problem.... this needs to address soon....
Updated it to 11.3.1 hoping it would fix it and it didn't. I've been talking to a senior Apple advisor for basically a month now and nothing has changed, really aggravating.
About 6weeks later: any news from pioneer? Or apple?
Finally!!
Honestly, people on this forum have nothing great to offer that help the issue. It's pretty much on Apple to fix the horrendous iOS 11.3 update. I haven't had any issue with connecting my iPhone to my car stereo until I updated last week and really regret every minute of it since then.
Apple has to have an update... before the code is gone...
