Can I reset cpu time in activity monitor

I often use Activity Monitor, but notice that total CPU time, memory, disk usage and network usage data accumulate over time. In order to see what is using resources, it would be useful to reset the data. Can any of these processes be reset? Windows server process shows 20 hrs, but while this is the highest CPU time shown, it is hardly the total time over the past 10 years I have run this 2008 Mac Pro, so something resets the data.

I am using OS 10.11.6.

Mac Pro - Intel 8 core, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Sure, it is reset by a Restart.

What you may be looking for is percent CPU for a snapshot kind of indicator. I have added that column to my memory display, so I get the memory pressure graph below and the snapshot of CPU percent, sorted by Highest use at the top above.

The Energy pane is a good medium-term indicator rather than an all-time tally.
