Hi I am trying to install windows10 with bootcamp. I have 79Gb free space on my macbook air. Bootcamp keeps on prompting me with "not enough space to create partition. Needs 40Gb." Any help or suggestions to fix?
Can you post the output of
sudo tmutil listlocalsnapshots /
This will show us if you have any snapshots which may be occupying disk space.
You may want to delete the local snapshots, before you try to install Windows.
From Terminal, can you post the text output of
diskutil list
diskutil apfs list
Run
sudo tmutil deletelocalsnapshots 2018-04-05-151333
and repeat for the other entries, and then retry BC Assistant.

macbook air early 2014
did an update to latest high siera this afternoon version10.13.4
I went into disk uitilty. I think it reads the Apple Ssd sdo128f media disk as the startup disk and utility shows it‘s full.
In this disk it shows 2 sub disks. Container disk1 and Macintosh hd as a sub disk
Any suggestions how to fix?

This looks like my issue too - I decided to back up with an external drive first... then see what happens - will let this thread know if it works
