Why is Safari requiring that I log in every time I click on it

Why is Safari asking me to sign in each time I use it?

I can bypass the log in and get onto the net. The issue here is that Safari is coming up as an iCloud browser and I have no idea why if suddenly became active as an iCloud search which requires logging in each and every time.

>System Preferences>iCloud you can uncheck the Safari box. See if this resolves your issue.

If you prefer to use iCloud sync to your Safari tabs etc—then I would suggest logging out of iCloud, and then back in again, re-enabling Safari in the iCloud preferences.
