How to disable ads in my iMessage?

On my Macbook and in my Iphone 8+... my friend messaged me about an event... I messaged her back and she responded "coolio"

Why in God's name did this response appear hyperlinked and when i click it it shows the itunes store to buy the rapper Coolio's music and also his wikipedia page and a whole bunch of other nonsense? This feels like an invasion of privacy... I don't need to be advertised to when sending messages for a phone and service I already pay for.. I would expect this from Facebook but NOT in my private messages.

Is there any way to disable this "feature"?
