Facebook Password Required
For the last few days, in spite of being already logged on Facebook, I am continuosly required to submit my Facebook password.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
This did not help : it even asked password in safemode

But other problem is that the sync from Facebook with Calendar is no longer working, also the notifications in the Notifications Panel are gone. I don't think deleting the account is a solution, the solution is get the account working again.

The same is happening to me since 1 or 2 days ago. Checking the system Console I am pretty sure is related with failing to connect to https://webdav.facebook.com:8443/
It appears to be something wrong with the SSL port 8443, cause you can check with port 443 with Safari and works fine.
The following record appears to me every time the "Can't not connect to Facebook" appears :

I'm having the same issue! its too noise,
but now you cannot share from photos etc, right?
I can't see any picture, neither on my wall, nor my profile photo, nor my cover photo, but it happens only with Safari. Using other browser, such as Firefox, I can see all the pictures on Facebook.
Do you have the DashLane extension installed?
I am having this problem as well- I have deleted all keychain data associated with Facebook and the problem persists. Any advice?

Changed Facebook password
Restarted computer
Deleted/Re-Added account
Tried another user (admin) account
Deleted Keychain access (today)
Nothing. Still persists.
Javier - Also asking what exactly you deleted from Keychain. I don't have any idea what I'm looking at when I open that app. Thanx

It appears Facebook fixed our macOS X integration as of yesterday, 06/08/2018. I knew it had to be on their side with all of the security changes they were making.
I just recreated my facebook account in System Preferences->Internet Accounts and it is now working normally. Thanks for the update.
