Facebook Password Required

In the last couple weeks I started seeing the same thing regarding macOS unable to properly setup facebook integration. This was working for several years so I find the current situation frustrating (I would not be surprised if this was a Facebook issue and not macOS).

Note that I did the same thing you did, no help.

This is clearly not the answer as it’s the first thing I did with no change whatsoever to the popup message from macOS X Notifications. If Javier was truly successful in this, I would like to know every single step he took to make it work.

hi Javier, what was it exactly you deleted in Keychain in order to prevent this notification popping up constantly.

This did not help : it even asked password in safemode

I'm having the same issue! its too noise,

but now you cannot share from photos etc, right?

I am having this problem as well- I have deleted all keychain data associated with Facebook and the problem persists. Any advice?

Same here. Last couple days.

Changed Facebook password
Restarted computer
Deleted/Re-Added account
Tried another user (admin) account
Deleted Keychain access (today)

Nothing. Still persists.

Javier - Also asking what exactly you deleted from Keychain. I don't have any idea what I'm looking at when I open that app. Thanx

It appears Facebook fixed our macOS X integration as of yesterday, 06/08/2018. I knew it had to be on their side with all of the security changes they were making.
