I can't update apps

How do I fix?

Here is what it said:

This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.

Unable to Update some apps. Recently, when I try to update some apps, I get a prompt saying that the particular app cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with another Apple ID. This is strange and confusing because I have no other Apple ID besides the one I’m using and these same apps have always updated without any trouble in the past until now. Please I need help.

What if it says, "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled." So what do I do to update the apps that are showing as needing updating?

Unable to update apps I tried to update an app yesterday and keep getting a message "cannot update app...App cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID". I have only ever had one apple ID and have never requested a refund. I've done a quick search and it seems that the answer is uninstall and reinstall the app but that's a pretty rubbish customer service solution, is that really the only way I can get the updates?

Delete the app and download it using your current ID if desired.
