MacBook Pro shutting down when closed

Hi,

When I close my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)it has been shutting down instead of going to sleep. I have tried installing new updates and I have not done anything new with any power saving options. Is there a way to fix this?
