Hello. Has anyone had random screen flickering running High Sierra10.13.4? This is a new issue that started last weekend and its now continuing. Only change to configuration was installing Office 2016 a few days before flickering started. Sometimes after opening the cover I am getting a pink screen before it loads the wallpaper...

Screen flickering on my MacBook Pro. That WAS my only problem until last two days—- Now the screen jumps up and down.
It’s worse when scrolling even when scrolling slowly.
i give up.
Ok everyone. After spending a whole day on this issue and several hours with tech support, I had to reinstall OS 10.13.5. I was told it was probably an install issue. Of course reinstall is a couple hours. Still no fix. Deciding not to call again, I reinstalled 10.13.4 from a backup. Lost a month’s work which was not to bad because I use a Dropbox. I hope to try again, but not anytime soon.

Wondering if yours got fixed? I went to Apple store for them to have a look at my MBP and of course my MBP didn't act up that time so they didn't want to take my laptop. When I got home and open the lid, it happened again. It happens randomly and because this laptop is not cheap, I am worried. Let me know if you were able to have yours fixed. I read a lot because of this issue and people are really frustrated because it seems like Apple has done nothing to resolve it.
I have had issues this since this past spring when I updated to High Sierra on my Mac Book Pro. My screen after closing the lid and unhooking from my daisy chained Thunderbolt displays would have small square boxes. I thought it would be fixed in an update to High Sierra but two or three updates, no fix. The computer would reboot after each time I had an issue, so the finger print login was useless, etc. After reading this thread I went ahead and tried Mojave Beta. That has fixed my issue. I believe most people that are having the issue are on High Sierra(new purchase issues or after upgrades.) I got my MacBook last fall and didn't have any issues on the OS before High Sierra.
If your mac is still under warranty, try to replace it. My mac had similar issues and now it is not even 2 years since I bought it. Was asked to replace motherboard twice. Replaced it once when it was under warranty. Now it is no longer working. Decided to buy a cheaper computer. Apple no longer invests in quality. Then why pay a higher price?
