Korataki is one of the embedded fonts in Motion and Final Cut Pro X. You shouldn't need to install it unless you need it for other applications. There's a chance that if the version of Korataki you are trying to install in Font Book is not the same as the one in Motion/FCPX, then there could be a conflict (of sorts). In fact, the font in Motion is a "Truetype Collection" [.ttc font format] and that could very well be the issue.
So, how do you get around it? I would just have to guess... my approach would be to dig the version out of Motion and install that one (it will be the same resource type).
Right click on the Motion app and "Show Package Contents". Navigate the following folders:
Contents > Frameworks > Flexo.framework > Versions > A > Resources > Fonts
Find Korataki.ttc and option-drag it to your desktop (or another available folder). Option drag will make a copy of the font and NOT remove it from Motion. [Never, ever remove resources from an application without knowing exactly what you're doing!]
Use this copy of Korataki to install in Font Book. (While you're at it, you might as well select all the fonts in this folder and copy them out and install them in Font Book.)
Since Motion supports Font Collections, I also recommend creating a collection in Font Book, name it something Like Motion Fonts or FCPX Collection or whatever. Drag the fonts directly into the newly created collection column (it will be empty):

Why this works:
Applications can use fonts in the System Font collection, the *User's* font collection (two different things!) and inside the application itself. There are no duplicate font conflicts between the application installed fonts and the other two forms. (I don't believe there are font conflicts between System fonts and User installed fonts either... but take this with a grain of salt -- however, for San Francisco, which is a System font, in order for anyone to be able to use it in any other application, it did have to be installed on the User side, so I'm confident in the statement.)
PS - if you add all the fonts from Motion, you may find that there is a minor issue with Coolvetica ('hmtx' table usability) but it will install okay and does not seem to cause any issues with any application.
HTH - Good luck
