MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Hard Drive Issue
Everything was working just right. Updated to os 10.13.4 and not only did it take an hour to install but it also caused my Mac Mini to stop seeing the Lacie 2Big Quadra 6TB drive connected. I took the drive and plugged it into a laptop on older MacOS and could still see the data on the Lacie Drive.
Then I rebooted the laptop and the system updated the software to MacOS 10.13.4 the same as on the Mac Mini and the drive complety stop being recognized by either system. I would like to know if this is a software problem with the latest MacOS? The drive still works on another older system (Mac Mini). It's sad that a software update could make someone loose all their backups and access to them.
I have worked with the support for the hard drive manufacture, however when they start asking for photographs to show the connectors, I know it's going nowhere and they would never help solve the problem as stated. I would like to make this drive work again on my main system.
Please advise!
