iPhone 6 (and others) charge connector

Can one imagine:

the load-cable can not been inserted, at half way it stops.

Softly, can easily moved in each direction but forward into the connector,

woobles.

Cleaning brought some, not much, fibers and dust outside, not much impediment. Checked with another cable too. Can you help, please?

Charge port is on a separate cable (its a piece of plastic with socket, some flex cables) I am sure it can be replaced. Beware that a policy of this forum is to refer people to Apple under all circumstances, and all other options a taboo.

Anyway if the cable physically does not fit the socked must be obstructed somehow - why don'y you simply look inside under a proper lighting and see what is a problem? Something must be stuck inside. One possiblity is that socket got damaged and the metal parts of it are sticking out preventing inserting the connector. If so, then the charge port needs replacement.

Please what means that in response to my post?

Nothing at all. The person to whom you're responding has their own agenda, one not relevant as you've solved your issue.

Best of luck.
