Maps not available in iMovie

The maps do not show in my Content Library either. But when I select "Content Library > Backgrounds" it is showing the maps. And the title is showing "Background and Maps".

The maps are still there for me in iMOvie 10.1.9, but I have to scroll the backgrounds pane up all the way to see them. Have you tried to scroll the background pane?

Yes, that is puzzling. I noticed the difference . You may check, if your iMovie installation is complete.

I searched the contents of the iMovie 10.1.9 application bundle.

The support for the maps is installed inside the iMovie package.

Check this folder:

/Applications/iMovie.app/Contents/Frameworks/Flexo.framework/Versions/A/Resource s/Maps/

You can open it from the Finder's Go menu.

Type the complete path into the text field Finder > Go > Go to folder

But just look if the Flexo. framework is there, do not modify anything.

Click the folder Frameworks in your snapshot. Is the Flexo.framework inside?

Your iMovie installation seems to be incomplete.

Try to reinstall it.

Move iMovie from the Applications folder to the Trash, then open the AppStore and download iMovie again, either from the Purchases tab of the AppStore or from the main tab.
