Fonts missing in Pages

I opened a Microsoft Word document in Pages ( I don't have MS Word) and it gave me "This document has missing fonts" message and when I checked which fonts are missing they are standard fonts. I searched this discussion site and saw another post from about two years ago for the same thing and the last reply asked if the fonts were available in TextExit, so I checked and yes they are. Any suggestions on how to remedy this. I am using Pages 7.0 on my MacBook Pro with High Sierra.

Probably because they are a different format and/or loacation than the default Apple set.

macOS can have multiple Font folders: Admin, User and App plus any you create. It is possible the MsOffice clones have their own font folder to match MsOffice on Windows. Adobe and Microsoft create their own font folders.

Pages 7.0 will use your User fonts if you installed it in your User only, the Admin fonts if you installed it "For Everyone".

Check with Font Book where the fonts are installed and whether the fonts vary between collections.

When you have a problem we can do very little if we don't know what to look for and what to test. And we can not see what you are looking at, which is why we really need to be told precisely what you are using and what you have done.

I was able to open the same document using Office Libre, TextEdit, and Google Docs with no issue, and only Pages had an issue with the fonts, so honestly I did not think the specific fonts were the issue, but the fonts specifically listed as missing for this particular document are Trebuchet MS (Calibri), Arial, Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Times, and Times New Roman. I referred to them as "standard fonts" as they have been available to every software package that I have ever used in the last 3 decades. I did go through the replace font process, and those exact fonts were in the list of fonts to select from, so I chose the exact font that it said was missing. Thus, my confusion, if those fonts were available to Pages, why did it say they are missing.
